PETALING JAYA: Continental Tyre PJ Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CTM) has launched an industry-first warranty programme, namely a five-year warranty from the date of purchase.
All passenger light truck (PLT) tyres come with Continental’s global standard warranty of two years from the date of purchase by end customers.
CTM offers another three years extended warranty in Malaysia, for all Continental, Dunlop and Viking PLT tyres.
The five-year warranty is on condition the date of purchase is within five years of date of manufacture.
The extended warranty is offered in Malaysia from January 1, 2016 onwards.
“We are confident of the performance of our products against manufacturing defects, and decided to offer consumers this extended warranty,” said CTM managing director Cameron Wilson.
