PETALING JAYA: UMW Toyota Motor has announced that its luxury brand outlet in Mutiara Damansara has been transferred to a dealer, effective Aug 1.
Hiewa Auto Gallery (Lexus) Sdn Bhd will take over the Lexus Mutiara Damansara outlet.
UMW Toyota Motor is retreating from retail operations to focus on upstream activities such as product development, marketing and dealer network support, while dealers would continue to work on achieving customer satisfaction.
This follows UMW Toyota Motor's announcement in October 2017 that it would be transferring the majority of all of its retail operations to dealers and other relevant parties.
“It is essential for Lexus Malaysia to continue achieving high customer satisfaction standards,” said its president, Ravindran K.
