BOLOGNA: Ducati's range of fun-loving Hypermotard motorcycles just got bigger with the introduction of the mid-range Hypermotard 950 RVE.

The Hypermotard 950 RVE sits between the entry-level Hypermotard and range-topping Hypermotard 950 SP while sporting a street art-inspired "Graffiti" livery.

Although it's technically stickers that have been sprayed over by clearcoat, the Italian bike builder said that it used very thin ones that make it look like they've been airbrushed on.

Aside from the graphics, the middle-child RVE naturally gets added goodies over the standard Hypermotard which includes the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up and Down EVO for some fast-shifting and clutchless action.

As standard, the Hypermotard RVE comes with the usual inclusion of Bosch Cornering ABS with Slide by Brake function (in setting 1), Ducati Traction Control Evo (DTC EVO) and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO.

The Hypermotard 950 is the fun-bike par excellence of the Ducati range and is designed to guarantee a high level of pleasure and control while riding.

Power still comes from the 937cc twin-cylinder Testastretta 11-degree engine producing 114hp at 9,000rpm and 98Nm of torque - 80% of which is already available at 3,000rpm.

In comparison to the range-topper, the 950 SP sports racing graphics and Öhlins suspension with increased travel, Marchesini forged wheels and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up and Down EVO.
