Ducati Indonesia important enough for CEO Domenicali to swing by

JAKARTA: Not many people know this but the Ducati flagship store in Indonesia is the world’s largest Ducati store

At 3,000 square metres, the Indonesian outlet was opened in May last year by Aruba.it Racing Ducati Superbike Team star, Chaz Davies.

Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali visited the store on Tuesday to show his appreciation for the significant progress Ducati has made in the country.

“Our importer in Indonesia, PT Garansindo Euro Sports, has done a superb job of interpreting Ducati brand values”, said Domenicali, whose visit is the first by a Ducati head in the brand's 15-year history in Indonesia.

“The Jakarta showroom presents our products as true works of art in a well thought-out, premium setting. Plenty of space, a multi-floor display, attention to detail, the exhibition of vintage bikes, an entire floor dedicated to the Scrambler, welcome areas and a top-notch service area make this store one of the best in the world”.

Tuesday’s event also local Ducati communities such as the DDOCI and DSO Ducati Owners Clubs. Indonesia was Domenicali's last stop on an Asian tour of Ducati's operations.
