BOLOGNA: Ducati closed 2021 by reporting the best revenues and operating profit ever recorded on the back of improved sales performance.
The Italian motorcycle manufacturer delivered a record of 59,447 units to customers around the world, achieving an increase in sales of 24% higher over 2020 (48,042) and 12% higher over 2019 (53,183).
A record is registered also in terms of revenues, that are equal to €878mil (RM4.97bil) with
growth of 30% over 2020 (€676mil, RM3.13bil) and 23% over 2019 (€716mil, RM3.2bil), and in
terms of operating profit, which reached €61mil (RM282.9mil) thus growing of 154% over 2020
(€24mil, RM111.3mil)) and 18% over 2019 (€52mil, RM241.1mil).
All these results were achieved despite the difficulties faced in the supply crisis and components shortage, on which Ducati is continuously working also with the support of the Volkswagen Group.
