KUALA LUMPUR: Workshop owners and customers along Jalan Sentul were treated to a surprise visit by Ducati Team riders - Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone.

The surprise was organised by Shell Advance and was also accompanied by Ducati sporting director Paolo Ciabatti as well as Shell Advance global brand manager Vivek Pareek and the Shell Lubricants Malaysia team.

As a gesture of appreciation, eight lucky workshop owners got to experience the memorable occasion with their customers along the ‘golden mile’ - an area popular with bikers in the Klang Valley.

The riders handed out mementos as a form of thanks to the owners and spent some time to chat with them and pose for photographs.

In addition, three mechanics were awarded prizes for taking part in a special 'fastest bike oil change' challenge, which was organised in conjunction with the visit, and were presented by Ciabatti, Dovizioso and Iannone.

"It was extremely challenging due to the tight schedules, but thanks to the long standing Technical Partnership between Shell Advance and Ducati Corse, and some really special travel arrangements, the team’s visit to Jalan Sentul, which few could imagine, became a reality,” said Shell Lubricants marketing manager Alex Lim.



It was also announced that the Shell Advance team will be conducting a free oil change for the first 500 motorcycles from 9.00am to 6.00pm, on Oct 29 at the P1 parking lot at the Sepang International Circuit.

This first-ever free oil change for owners of motorcycles below 250cc will be given to winners of a recent Shell Advance competition and also to those who purchase a pack of Shell Advance engine oil from Oct 29 to 30.
