LAS VEGAS: Fisker Inc has revealed its Ocean luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 in Las Vegas.

With a projected production of more than a million vehicles between 2022 and 2027, the Ocean's price will range from USD$29,999 (RM125,000) to USD$37,499 (RM155,000) with full options included.

The Ocean has been earmarked for production at the end of 2021 and deliveries beginning sometime in 2022.

No initial performance figures were revealed except the California-based company did, however, divulge that the Ocean will be equipped with an 80kWh lithium-ion battery that's good for up to 480km.

Other goodies will include a Karaoke feature that's shown through a heads-up display – synced with the Fisker Flexee app for a fun in-vehicle family experience.

There's also a patented "California Mode" which lowers/slides all nine glass windows/panels to open the entire cabin with one touch to create an open-air feeling, while still maintaining a full "roll cage" safety structure around the passengers.

Also, the rear hatch glass can drop to allow long items to be placed through the opening without having to drive with an open tailgate.

"We look forward to sharing even more details at the Geneva Motor Show 2020 – including our fully-engineered platform and more technical specifications," said chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker.

Fisker Inc was previously known as Fisker Automotive which brought about the Fisker Karma luxury plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that made its debut in 2008.
