KUALA LUMPUR: Ford distributor Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) is sweetening the deal in a move to boost sales of the Ranger XLT.
It is offering for a limited time zero maintenance cost for five years or 100,000km (whichever comes first) plus attractive cash rebates on the pick-up truck. The offer ends on Dec 31.
The Ranger XLT comes with a number of safety features such as Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control and Adaptive Load Control, and Rollover Mitigation.
The vehicle also features electronic power-assisted steering and a 3,500kg towing capability.
The Ranger XLT is available with a choice of either the 2.2-litre Duratorq four-cylinder TDCi diesel engine with 158hp of power and 385Nm of torque, or the 3.2-litre Duratorq five-cylinder TDCi diesel engine, which pumps out 197hp and 470Nm.
The Ranger 2.2-litre XLT is available in five colours: Aluminium Metallic, Aurora Blue, Cool White, Metropolitan Grey and Black Mica. The Ranger 3.2 XLT variant is available in Aluminium Metallic, Cool White, Metropolitan Grey and Black Mica.
