The convoy drove from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca, and was open to Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG, CLA 45 AMG and GLA 45 AMG car owners.
At the historic A Famosa Portuguese fortress in Malacca, the convoy organisers also raised RM2,000 in a charity collection for St John Ambulance.
Sponsors and supporters of the convoy included Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, Hap Seng Star, MBSA Automotive, AMG Private Lounge (Germany), Tan Ee and Sons Sdn Bhd, and Restaurant Pei Zing.
Ahmad Risdan, who was among the convoy's organisers, said the event aimed for 45 AMG car owners to meet and share their experiences in having "one of the greatest cars ever produced by Mercedes and AMG".
"Everyone was pleased with the event, especially when we have never really met in person. One participant who is based in Dubai, had flown in the previous day just to join the convoy, and also left for Dubai on the same day after the convoy ended," said Ahmad.
Ahmad added that convoy participants had a good time sharing their passion and knowledge about motorsports, Mercedes-Benz, AMG, sports vehicle tuning and after-market products.
Ahmad said the next 45 AMG convoy event might be held when the year-end approaches.
