KUALA LUMPUR: Out of almost 4,000 entries for Goodyear Malaysia's 2019 Ramadhan Raya Promo campaign, a lucky winner took home the Grand Prize.
The campaign, held from May 1 to June 30, selected Shamsuddin bin Abdul Jalil as the lucky person to take home a new Honda City and a 10-year supply of Goodyear tyres after purchasing a set of Goodyear Assurance TripleMax 2 tyres.

The campaign's concept was conceptualised in order to advocate being safe on the roads by replacing worn tyres with new reputable tyres, particularly when driving long distances during celebratory seasons.
This echoes the concern of the Ministry of Works has for road safety, after releasing its findings that showed up to 10,000 accidents occur on the roads due to rethreaded tyres.
"The importance of car safety and tyre health cannot be downplayed. For this reason, we have made it our global commitment to encourage being safe on the road by closely monitoring the state of your tyres," said Goodyear Malaysia sales director Chee Lip Choon.
