PETALING JAYA: Harley-Davidson Motor Company announces its 2019 model year lineup to serve the growing demand among Malaysian motorcycle enthusiasts.
Effective March 16, Sportster motorcycle models are priced from RM62,600, while the recently-refreshed Softail models start at RM97,200.
“The 2019 model year introduces the Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO), Touring, Softail and Sportster family with new technology, updated features, styling tweaks, new finishes, and matching accessories, bringing a new level of performance to the Harley-Davidson line-up throughout our product range,” said Harley-Davidson Asia Emerging Markets managing director Johan Kleinsteuber.
The 2019 model year motorcycles are another example of how Harley-Davidson is investing in products and opportunities that inspire increased ridership in the near-term and deliver sustainable growth for the future as part of its More Roads to Harley-Davidson plan.
All three authorised dealerships will be hosting their Model Year 2019 Open House on March 16-17, where the new bikes will be available for purchase.
Harley-Davidson of Penang will also have its official opening on March 16, the third dealer operator to join the refreshed network of independently owned dealerships in Malaysia.
The Harley-Davidson franchise in Malaysia was previously handled by the Naza World group until late 2017. Harley-Davidson then appointed Didi Resources in 2018 to take over from Naza World, which is part of the diversified Naza group of companies.
