SHAH ALAM: The official distributor for Haval vehicles in Malaysia, Go Auto, has launched locally-assembled (CKD) H2 which comes with new Haval Blue colour and rim design.

Aside from the new colour, the vehicle is also available in the current Haval Red and is competitively priced at RM98,950 for the Comfort Auto variant and RM101,950 for the Premium Auto (prices include insurance and road tax).

Other than a new rim design and colour, the H2 CKD is identical to its fully-imported (CBU) version which has keyless entry system, button start system, multifunction meter panel, steering wheel control buttons, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, audio and video entertainment system, a 6-way electrically adjustable driver seat and adjustable sunroof.

The H2 CKD retains the turbocharged, 1.5-litre VVT petrol engine which produces 147hp at 5,600rpm and 210Nm of torque from 2,200rpm to 4,500rpm, paired to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Externally, the H2 CKD comes with halogen headlamps, with LED daytime running lights. It also comes with a chrome grille which enhances its aesthetic values.

Safety features are six airbags (dual front, dual front side and side curtain), reverse sensors and camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability programme and front active headrest to minimise spinal injury in collision.

The H2 CKD scored a maximum five stars in China’s C-NCAP Crash Test.

Go Auto is offering Buy Back Guarantee scheme to ensure vehicle owners of 50% of its resale value if their vehicles are resold to the company within five years.

Go Auto executive director Datuk SM Azli Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin Kamil said the company is targeting sales of 2,100 H2 CKD units until 2018.

“The H2 CKD are ready at 14 Haval showrooms nationwide,” he said.

H2 is also on the list of Haval models to be exported to Batam, Indonesia and Cambodia.
