The H2 is equipped with a 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine and is available in three variants: Std, Comfort and Premium.
Following the encouraging response last year’s M4 model, Go Auto felt it timely to bring in a more premium and powerful SUV to the local market.
“The response for the M4 was encouraging considering that we are a new player in the local automotive scene.
“The presence of the Haval H2 would certainly expand our product offerings that would suit the lifestyle and needs of a wider market segment,” said Go Auto chief executive officer Ahmad Azam Datuk Sulaiman.
The Std variant features a 6-speed manual transmission while the Comfort and Premium features a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The H2 produces 147hp at 5,600rpm and 210Nm of torque from 2,200-4,500rpm.
The H2 comes with keyless entry and push start button as standard.
Other features include electrically adjustable driver seat, sunroof, leather upholstery, dual zone climate control, touch screen infotainment unit, six airbags, electronic stability program, anti-lock braking system, electronic parking brake, blind spot visual system and tyre pressure monitoring system.
Go Auto is looking at a sales target of a 1000 units by the end of the year.
Ahmad also said that 100 units of the H2 are completely built up (CBU) and will introduce completely knocked down (CKD) units around Sept or Oct this year.
The price for the H2 Std, Comfort and Premium are RM89,950, RM98,950, and RM101,950 respectively. It comes with a 5 year warranty or 150,000km (whichever comes first).
The colours available are Haval Blue, Titanium White, Modern Grey, Haval Red/Classic Black, Classic Black/Titanium White and Brownish Brown/Titanium White.
