Extra features on the M4 Elite include projector headlamps, daytime running lights, a honeycomb front grille, around view mirror, digital video recorder and tinted window film.
The M4 Elite is sold with a seven-year unlimited mileage manufacturer's warranty, and for a limited period, buyers also get insurance rebates or service vouchers for up to 25,000km.
The Haval M4 is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with variable valve timing, that outputs 105hp at 6,000rpm.
Assembled in Gurun, Kedah, the Haval M4 is offered with either a manual gearbox or AMT (automated manual transmission), and variants are priced from RM54,747 onwards.

"Haval is the top-selling SUV brand in China for 11 years," said Go Auto CEO Ahmad Azam Datuk Sulaiman.
This year, Haval Malaysia is aiming for domestic sales of 6,000 units and exports of 4,800 units.
"About 83% of domestic sales will be the M4 compact SUV. The balance will be the H2 C-segment SUV, which we plan to launch in the second quarter," said Ahmad Azam.
He pointed out that last year, there were registrations of 1,534 M4 units.
"Sales growth has been very strong since we started sales in 2014," said Ahmad Azam.
Regarding exports, he said Go Auto started exports of M4 units to Cambodia last year.
"We are in talks in Thailand. Indonesia is also in the plans," he said.
Presently, there are 33 sales and service centres for Haval cars in the country.
"About 60% are 3S (sales, service and spare parts) and the rest are 2S," said Ahmad Azam.
