“This new Honda 3S Centre will provide easier access to more convenience for our customers in the Banting area," said Honda Malaysia managing director and CEO Toichi Ishiyama.
Operated by Banting Star, the new Honda Banting Star Showroom is a RM15mil facility that spans across 23,250 square-feet and is located at Lot 1608, Jalan Klang Banting, Telok Panglima Garang (+603-3191 6100 Sales and Service).
The new facility's showroom floor operates from 9.00am to 7.00pm (Monday to Friday), 9.00am to 6.00pm (Saturday) and 9.00am to 5.00pm (Sunday), while the Service and Spare Parts centre operates from 8.30am to 5.30pm (Monday to Saturday) and 8.30am to 3.30pm (Sunday and public holidays).
With a service capacity of up to 44 cars per day, the new facility houses 16 bays at the rear of the building - 11 of which are reserved for servicing, three for general repairs and two for tyre servicing.
For customers, the new facility provides a waiting lounge, executive lounge, cafe counter, kids corner, Surau, complimentary Wi-Fi, car wash services, road tax renewal and insurance coverage services and a newly added 'fast service' that will have your Honda vehicle serviced within 90 minutes.
At the moment, the company also announced that there are ongoing plans for setting up an online after-sales service portal (to go live later this year) that will allow customers to track their respective vehicle's progress, service history and product updates.
Ishiyama mentioned in his speech that from January to March, the total service intake within the Central region stood at more than 148,100 units and this marks a 10% increase when compared to the same period last year.
