The new colours can now be had in a combination of Matte Black with Red chassis or Matte Black with White chassis.
Both 649cc bikes will be available at Honda Impian Shops from Jan 23 onwards and will be priced from RM44,730.94 (CB650F) and RM46,850.94 (CBR650F) inclusive of GST and a two-year or 20,000km manufacturer's warranty (whichever comes first).
The new colour combo looks to attract those who like larger bikes and are looking to upgrade or perhaps would like to get a more affordable bike with a four-cylinder engine.
Both models are equipped with a digital speedometer, digital bar graph technology, dual trip meter, digital bar graph fuel gauge, digital clock, HISS security system and LED tail-light cluster.
A 17.3-litre fuel-tank, the motor provides 83hp at 9,500rpm and 63Nm of torque at 8,000rpm for the 206kg CB650F that's 3kg lighter than the CBR650F at 209kg.
Both have a saddle height of 810mm and a wheelbase of 1,450mm while standing 2,110mm-long, 775mm-wide and 1,120mm-tall - only the CBR650F adds 25mm more at 1,145mm, but clears the ground at 130mm versus the CB650F at 150mm
The bikes roll on 17-inch wheels with 120/70 (front) and 180/55 (rear) motorcycle tyres and come equipped with a 101mm trailing arm, front telescopic and rear pro-link suspension setup as well as double front and single rear disc brakes.
