Honda City attracts around 9,000 bookings

PETALING JAYA: Honda Malaysia is having a chest-thumping moment with an announcement today that its all-new City, launched a month ago, had attracted nearly 9,000 bookings to-date.

The top V variant was the most popular of three, capturing 54% of total bookings received.

As the economic powerhouse of Malaysia, the central region was not surprisngly the main contributor to bookings at 44%, followed by the north at 22% and the south at 19%.

In terms of colour, the Platinum White Pearl colour appears to be the favourite among customers, representing 28% of the overall sales for the fifth-generation City.

To-date, more than 2,400 units of the City have been delivered to customers nationwide.
