PETALING JAYA: Boon Siew Honda's top selling model Wave Alpha MMC (Minor Model Change) is now a little more stylish, environmentally friendly and now has better fuel efficiency.

The bike is priced from RM4,535.74 (drum brake and spoke wheels) to RM4,927.94 (disc brake and cast wheels) inclusive of GST and comes with a two-year or 20,000km manufacturer's warranty (whichever comes first).

The bike is now available in a new Pearl Nightfall Blue colour, which expands the usual colours of Pearl Magellanic Black and Vivacity Red.

It also features an enhanced emissions filtering system to help improve its overall performance, while a newly designed muffler and rear grab handle (for cast wheel type only) has been added to enhance its overall looks and appeal.


The 98kg (wet) bike still maintains use of its 109cc four-stroke single-overhead cam engine with 8.2hp at 7,500rpm and 8.6Nm of torque at 5,500rpm that's fed by a 3.7-litre fuel tank and managed by a four-speed manual transmission.

The company also recently announced that the Wave Alpha is among its four motorcycle models that have been certified as Energy Efficient Vehicles (EEV), making it the first motorcycle maker to have EEV-certified models.
