SHAH ALAM: Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has announced that its  Hyundai Grand Starex Royale multi-purpose vehicle has been given a makeover.

The Grand Starex Royale Deluxe 2.5GLS Diesel VGT is currently priced on-the-road with insurance at RM168,888 and maintians having three colour choices of Creamy White, Timeless Black and Hyper Silver

A five-year or 300,000km (whichever comes first) extended warranty comes with all new Hyundai passenger vehicles along with a 24-hour road assist service for both new and existing Hyundai vehicles.

Viewing, booking and test-driving of the new Starex will be available at all Hyundai showrooms nationwide from December onwards.

Externally, the Starex now comes with a new front chrome grille and bumper design, aerodynamic side cladding and a more sculpted rear end with an added high gloss black finish.

The Starex’s 2.5-litre turbo-diesel with a Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) and intercooler produces 170PS at 3,800rpm and 392Nm of torque from 2,000 to 2,500rpm, while mated to a five-speed automatic transmssion.

Other standard features include Cruise Control, a Safe Drive Recorder and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) to name a few.
