Infiniti Q50 hits track designed by pig

YOKOHAMA: Nissan sought to showcase the Infiniti Q50's Direct Adaptive Steering through an amusing commercial that has a race driver running around a track “designed” by of all creatures - a pig.

But this is no ordinary pig, as the tongue-in-cheek video sought to portray. This, here, is one talented porker suitably named Pigcasso.

Professional race driver Michael Krummm is seen following the maddening maze created by said pig. Towards the end of the clip, he lets out a laugh when he realises who was behind the crazy circuit.

The Q50 is sold in Japan as the Nissan Skyline but uses Infiniti emblems.

Nissan ad aside, the gifted pig has received much media attention following its knack with the paintbrush. Its so-called abstract paintings sell for up to US$2,000 (RM8,600).

Pigcasso was saved from a South African abattoir when she was four weeks old. The 204kg sow now lives in a Cape Town farm with its new owner.
