PETALING JAYA: The Kedah Road Transport Department (JPJ) is aiming to get RM1.5mil in bids for the “KES” series vehicle registration numbers, Harian Metro reported.
State JPJ director Ismasuhaimi Shariff said bidding for the registration numbers KES 1 to KES 9999 opened on Monday and will close at midnight on April 15.
He expressed confidence in achieving the RM1.5mil target based on the amount received from previous registration number series, namely KEN (RM4.13mil), KEE (RM1.87mil) and KER (RM1.16mil).
