KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction with Kawasaki Malaysia’s 30th Anniversary celebration, the company launched two new models - the Z250 ABS and Z400 SE ABS.
The Z250 ABS is priced at RM21,988 and the Z400 SE ABS at RM28,755.
The Z400 SE ABS is a 399cc, DOHC, eight-valve, liquid-cooled parallel-twin that offers 45hp at 10,000rpm and 38Nm of torque at 8,000rpm.
Transmission is a 6-speed type and the Z400 features a two-channel ABS.
The front is fitted with single 310mm disc together with a two-piston calliper while the rear brake is a single 220mm disc with a dual-piston calliper.
Kawasaki Z400 SE ABS
The Z400 front suspension is fitted with a 41mm diameter telescopic fork complemented by the preload adjustable mono shock absorber at the rear.
Meanwhile, Z250 ABS's 248cc, DOHC, eight-valve, liquid-cooled parallel-twin delivers 37hp at 12,500rpm and 23Nm at 10,500rpm.
Also featuring a six-speed transmission, the Z250 uses a single 290mm brake disc at the front while the rear wheel gets a single 220 mm disc on dual piston calliper.
Not to forget the suspension is equipped with a 37mm telescopic fork while the rear is preload adjustable.
The Z250 ABS will be available in Candy Lime Green and Z400 SE ABS in Pearl Storm Grey.
They were launched by Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
