The evolutionary styling changes subtly alter the character of the new Sorento, highlighting its sleek and dynamic bodyline profile, thus creating a sophisticated continental appearance and ensuring the new Sorento has a bolder on-the-road presence.

The styling of the new Sorento’s cabin follows a 'modern and wide' theme, providing the interior with a stable, horizontal layout and appearance. The Diesel variant is equipped with an R 2.2 CRDi engine which produces 200PS and 441.3 Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Petrol variant is powered by a Theta II 2.4 MPI engine with Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (DCVVT) which produces 171PS and 224.6Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
