KUALA LUMPUR: Naza Kia Malaysia, the official distributor of KIA vehicles in Malaysia, has announced that the all-new third generation Sorento sports utility vehicle (SUV) is now open for booking ahead of its official launch later this month.
The Sorento will be made available with a petrol and diesel engine with pricing estimated at around RM158,000 on-the-road and will come with a five-year warranty with unlimited mileage.
Inside, the Sorento is said to offer high quality materials and will include, among its long list of new and innovative offerings, a smart power tailgate, smart parking system, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and rear sunshine blind.
In terms of safety there's six airbags, vehicle stability management, electronic stability control, anti-lock braking system and hill-start assist control among others.
“With fuel-efficient diesel or petrol engines to choose from, 7 seats, multiple awards and the only SUV in the market with 19-inch chrome rims, customers who make their bookings early will be among the first in the country to own this one-of-a-kind SUV as soon as possible," said Naza Corporation Holdings (Automotive Group) chief operating officer Datuk Samson Anand George.
