PETALING JAYA: A section of the tunnel along Sultan Iskandar highway (Mahameru highway) towards Damansara/Jalan Istana will be closed for three months due to upgrading works.

City Hall (DBKL) Corporate Planning Department head Khalid Zakaria said that the closure of the tunnel was due to the upgrading works along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim (Jalan Duta).

Khalid said that the stretch would be closed from April 4 until July 3 and that the City Hall will be continuously monitoring the traffic at the stretch.

“We will be monitoring the situation 24 hours a day to ensure that traffic runs smoothly.

“Road users should be careful and should observe the traffic signage at the site,” he said.
