The ninth edition of KLIMS, themed “Beyond Mobility”, is expected to see the rollout of new vehicle concepts and models.

The motor show is organised by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA).

Trade-Link Exhibition Services Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the show manager for KLIMS 2018.

“KLIMS is the country’s most established and significant automotive event,” said MAA president Datuk Aishah Ahmad. “With the rise in the cost of living affecting consumers, and the rise in the cost of doing business affecting companies, the local automotive sector is expected to face another challenging year.

"KLIMS is set to re-ignite consumers’ sentiment, define brand presence and refuel the industry,” said Aishah.

The motor show’s launch announcement at MITEC on Wednesday was made by International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed. Also present was Trade-Link Exhibition Services chairman Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

In the 2013 show, The Star was one of the official media partners.
