KLANG: Proton has opened a new 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre in Klang after having oficially opening the doors to a 4S centre last month.

The new facility, operated by Pantai Bharu Corporation, is located at Jalan Kapar, Klang.

To Officiate the event was Proton chief executive officer Dr Li Chunrong who was accompanied by deputy chief executive officer Datuk Radzaif Mohamed, vice president of sales and marketing Abdul Rashid Musa and the company's senior management members.

Additionally, the new facility has been equipped with 12 service bays, eight hoists, three delivery bays and 70 customer parking bays.

Inside, the facility also possesses enough space to seat 35 customers, a dedicated children's play area, coffee and gadget charging area as well as free access to Wifi.

As at June 30, the local carmaker has accomplished 87 outlets ready for upgrade to 3S and 4S, ahead of its scheduled time by two months, which is 80% of the targeted 109 outlets set to be completed by October.
