WELCOME TO KLIMS 2024—With a legacy of leadership, the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) has been at the forefront of advancing the automotive industry and championing the interests of new motor vehicles assemblers, manufacturers, importers and distributors since its establishment in 1960.
Over the years, MAA has worked closely with various government bodies to tackle key industry issues and challenges, ensuring sustainable growth and orderly developments.
The local automotive industry has experienced significant growth over the years.
In 2024, it continues to demonstrate resilience and progress, with the Year-to-Date Total Industry Volume as of October 2024 reaching 664,002 units, an increase of 2.4% compared to the same period in 2023.

This growth highlights the sector's ability to adapt and thrive amidst evolving challenges, solidifying its crucial role in Malaysia's economic landscape.
To ensure the sustainability of the industry, MAA remains vigilant in monitoring trends, challenges, and opportunities that impact the automotive sector.
We organise initiatives and activities to benefit our members, including the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS).
KLIMS, which was previously known as Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show, has transitioned to the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show, a rebranding that embodies our commitment to the industry's evolution.
This change reflects a broader vision, embracing the future of mobility, sustainability, and innovation that goes beyond traditional automotive concepts.
Over the years, KLIMS has become one of the region’s premier motor shows, providing a platform to showcase innovation and inspire progress. This year marks the 10th edition of KLIMS, and we are thrilled to present it under the theme “Beyond Mobility.”
This theme underscores the transformative advancements in mobility—from electric vehicles (EVs) and autonomous driving technologies to the broader ecosystem of sustainability, connectivity, and smart infrastructure.
KLIMS 2024 is more than just motor vehicles; it’s a celebration of how technological progress is redefining the automotive industry and influencing the way we live and move.
The show features a comprehensive lineup, including four-wheelers, two-wheelers, and last-mile mobility solutions, all of which play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation.
