KLIMS'18 promises varied accessories for visitors

KUALA LUMPUR: Back for 2018, the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show's (KLIMS'18) stage is set kick off from Nov 23 to Dec 2 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).

The show is touted to have a vast range of vehicles, including concept cars, bikes and commercial vehicles as well as car accessories and car care products.

Growing interest in vehicle customisation, both interior and exterior, are also driving the global car accessories market, which is why many companies are keen to use KLIMS’18 to strengthen their business channels.

Global technology conglomerate, 3M has been a regular exhibitor at KLIMS. The company has been capitalising on the clout of KLIMS to highlight 3M’s total innovative solutions for the automotive industry’s mega trends in safety, aesthetics, performance and energy.

Visitors to the 3M booth can expect discounts on their products such as 3M AutoFilm, 3M Car Wrap as well as 3M Car Care Solutions.

Another returning exhibitor, Kakimotor, is participating in this year's show to promote their products such as the ZerOne coilover kit and ZerOne big
brake kit.

These kits are available for most cars to help enhance driving performance and safety. The products come with the necessary parts with no modifications required.

Alex Lim, Manager of Kakimotor said “We are exhibiting at KLIMS for the second time and we will be using the show's platform to deliver awareness of our company products. We find KLIMS has proven fruitful in reaching out and explaining to customers about our products.”

Visitors to KLIMS’18 will be able to check out more car accessories exhibitors such as V-Kool, OSRAM, PG Perma Glass, PG Pro QPlus, Motul, Elite Looks, Be Pure, GetF1, NGK Spark Plugs, NTK Oxygen Sensors, STP, Armor All, Kaki Motor, Ravenol and Ottoman.

“Malaysia’s automotive industry players extend beyond vehicle marques manufacturers, franchise holders and distributors. The aftermarket including parts, accessories and care products comprises a major sector in Malaysia," said Malaysian Automotive Association president Datuk Aishah Ahmad.
