KUALA LUMPUR: The curse of the 'Monday Blues' have been swept aside for those attending the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2018 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).

Each individual booth at the show had nothing short of inquisitive and curious people coming to view their latest offerings.

One such attraction for Muhammad Eydzuan was the Lexus LC 500.

"I saw the LC 500 pass by one day and it struck me as a beautiful grand tourer with a 'lethal' engine sound. It's too bad we can't go inside," said the 21 year-old who just finished his internship.

Next to the Japanese luxury carmaker's showcase is the Toyota exhibit where Muhammad Afiq bin Amom, a 24 year old graduate, was amazed by the Toyota FT12 concept car.

"This is one cool concept car and I just hope something real comes out of this one day soon," he quipped.

At the Peugeot stand, just opposite from Toyota and Lexus, Ho Jin Kim found the 3008 sport utility vehicle (SUV) more of an appeal, thanks to its practicality.

"This French SUV is quite interesting and stylish in its design. I think the interior is very well laid out, ergonomic and intuitive," said the 24 year-old who works in the public relations department of a company.
