The car is featured at a key turning point in the movie’s plot, driven by the film’s main character, Dr Stephen Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch.
Dr Strange is seen driving the Huracán Coupé, which is characterised by its dramatic exterior, iconic design, and powerful performance.
Powered by a naturally-aspirated V-10 engine, its distinctive presence marks a dramatic debut. The 5.2l engine produces 602hp and 560Nm, going from 0-100kph in 3.2s, and hits a top speed of 325kph.
Automobili Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali has this to say: “Much like many Lamborghini owners, Dr Strange is a bold, ambitious and pioneering character who reaches beyond the realm of the ordinary and thrives in any situation, despite the challenges ahead.”
Lamborghini is the co-title sponsor at the world premiere of the latest Marvel Studios’ flick. The film set to make its box office debut on Nov 4.
Comics legend Stan Lee also makes a cameo in the film.
While paparazzi crowded to catch a glimpse of the Huracán on display, celebrities walked the red carpet for the movie premiere. Appearances by Emmy-Award winning Cumberbatch, the Oscar winning actress, Tilda Swinton and other actors from the film, including Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams and Benedict Wong made for a star-bright evening.
