SHAH ALAM: Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur has done well this year with the dealership selling 38 supercars this year, compared to 25 luxury vehicles in 2017.

Managing director Marcus Chye said the best selling was the Huracan Performante, as there were better product line-ups this year hence the better sales.

“Moving forward, sales would augur well in first quarter 2019 with the introduction of Aventador SVJ, launched three weeks ago at Pebble Beach, California, as it already has 15 orders and the demand will pick up,” he told reporters at its refurbished showroom launch in Glenmarie here today.

The 12,494 sq ft 3S facility has been updated with a new corporate design identity and a customer lounge that includes a car configurator. The service area is able to handle seven cars at a time and now comes installed with a special hydraulic lift for the Urus, Lamborghini's first SUV.

There has been a lot of local interest in the RM1mil Urus and Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur reported that it has 60 bookings to date with a one-year waiting period.
