American Land Rover tuner specialist, ECD Automotive Design has managed to fit a massive 6.2-litre LS3 V8 engine from a Corvette under the hood of this Defender that's dressed in British Racing Green.
A definite 565hp "sleeper" in this respect, but no one would have expected refinement to be included in this package.
The tuning company has also provided this Defender with a custom air suspension system and 18-inch wheels wrapped by all-terrain tyres from BF Goodrich.
The cabin's upholstery sports beige leather Recaro seats and an Evander wood rim steering wheel and a cargo area that's been customised with a wine and glass caddy among others.
There's no mention on pricing for this particular Defender yet, but they also do provide a "Greener" option that allows the Defender to get its propulsion from an electric motor sourced from Tesla instead.
But is this the first of its kind? No. Having an LS3 V8 engine under the hood of a Defender has been done before by Himalaya - another tuner that's based in South Carolina - also in the US.
Himalaya used a Defender 110 Crew Cab as the base for its blacked-out Spectre and fitted it with a lifted suspension system, 37-inch offroad tyres, Brembo brakes, Fox Racing shocks, a Warn winch, front and rear skid plates, front bull-bar and a custom spare wheel case.
Inside, the cabin features Alcantara headliner, leather upholstery and an Alpine x JL Audio sound system.
Next, they decided to strap on a Whipple supercharger to up the LS3's 525hp standard output to new heights and the entire package is going for somewhere in the vicinity of a six-figure asking-price that's in US Dollars.
