PETALING JAYA: Bridgestone Tyre Sales Malaysia, the official representative of the Japanese tyremaker in the country, has announced that the latest Lexus LC500 and Perodua Myvi 1.3 will be utilising their tyres.
The Bridgestone Potenza S001L Run Flat Technology Tyre (RFT) has been selected to be fitted on the highly anticipated and upcoming Lexus LC500's 21-inch wheels that use mixed tyres of 245/40 (front) and 275/35 (rear).
The S001L RFT is touted by its maker to have been developed exclusively for the Lexus LC 500 to ensure "superior performance of the luxury coupe" that has 470PS and 540Nm of torque from its 5.0-litre V8 engine.
The tyre is said to provide the driver with reliable control while maintaining a comfortable ride, while enabling vehicles to travel up to 80km after without any tyre pressure.
As for the Perodua Myvi 1.3, on the other hand, will be fitted with 175/65 ECOPIA EP150 tyres for its 14-inch wheels and boasts of its unique tyre compounds and cutting-edge technology in tread design to strike a balance between fuel efficiency, safety and durability.
The tyre is engineered for the cost-conscious and eco-conscious driver with low rolling resistance that reduces the production of harmful carbon dioxide emissions that contribute to global warming.
