TOKYO: Japanese tuner, Liberty Walk, has dropped a bomb of aggression upon the UK McLaren 650S with the unveiling of the company's latest custom-designed bodykit.

The full kit is currently available in two forms of fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) costing US$34,000 (RM140,000) or carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) at US$38,000 (RM156,000).

Although the Japanese company recommends that the full kit should be installed, parts such as the bumpers, wings and diffusers are individually available.

The kit includes wide fenders; front bumper and diffuser at US$6,500 (RM27,000); rear bumper at US$5,500 (RM22,600); rear diffuser at US$3,000 (RM12,300); side diffusers at US$4,500 (RM18,500) and a large rear wing at US$6,500 (RM27,000).

If going for the CFRP treatment, the rear bumper will be omitted from the list, which will now include the front bumper and diffuser costing US$7,500 (RM31,000); rear diffuser at US$4,000 (RM16,440); side diffusers at US$5,500 (RM22,600) and the rear wing at US$7,500 (RM31,000).

A dry carbon fibre wing is also available for US$11,800 (RM48,500) or if opted as part of the full kit, then the final price would be US$42,380 (RM174,000).

When fitted, the company says that the car will almost resemble a 650S GT3 racecar and according to the company, as intricate as the parts' design may be, fitment is as easy as plug-and-play.

The company is currently working on other kits for the Ferrari F430 and the Mercedes C63 Coupe that's due out in October - both cars will be fitted with an air suspension system by AirRex with three ride heights (Low, Normal and Speed Bump) as well as other individual settings. Oh yeah...
