PETALING JAYA: Bermaz will be previewing the updated Mazda CX-3 compact crossover at its roadshow in 1Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya from June 27 to July 1.

The new 2018 CX-3 will be making its first public appearance in Malaysia since its international debut at the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) in March this year.

The roadshow at the Oval Concourse, opens from 10am to 10pm.

Although the new CX-3 has not been officially launched in Malaysia, customers will be able to get up close with the vehicle and also place a booking.

The front wheel-drive compact sport utility vehicle with G-Vector Control is tentatively priced at RM121,134 (on-the-road without insurance and 0% GST in Peninsular Malaysia for private registration).

In Sabah and Sarawak, the CX-3 is priced similarly at RM123,788.

Features include a 2.0-litre direct injection engine with 154bhp and 204Nm of torque, a six-speed Skyactiv Drive automatic transmission with manual shift mode, 18-inch wheels, six airbags, walk away lock, anti-lock braking system, dynamic stability control and reverse camera with guidelines among others.



Among the new features are the redesigned grille, front LED and rear  (bulb) lights and wheels as well as added chrome accents for the lower bumper corners and side-skirts.

Inside, the cabin receives a new dashboard and electric parking brake.

Optional items include a Mazda navigation system costing RM1,198 and Skytint safety tint priced at RM1,792.

The new CX-3 comes with a three-year or 60,000km free maintenance and a five-year or100,000km manufacturer’s warranty.

At the roadshow, booking any model being showcased entitles the customer to sign-up for a gift and to stand a chance to win some Mazda Official merchandise by joining in an exciting game of “Goal!” during this World Cup season.
