MAGDEBURG (Germany): German helmet manufacturer Schuberth is an official supplier to the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team for the 2015 season onwards.
Based in Magdeburg, Germany, Schuberth has worked closely with Mercedes AMG Petronas to develop a new helmet designed to protect the team’s crew members as they take part in Formula One pit stops.
The new helmet, which will debut at the Australian Grand Prix, features the Schuberth-patented seamless inside and a carbon fibre outer layer.
Schuberth will also make the model available as a high-end helmet for winter sports purposes.
Schuberth is amongst the world’s leading manufacturers of helmets for motorcycle, Formula One and motorsport use, and of innovative head protection for professionals, fire brigade, police and military purposes.
