PETALING JAYA: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia celebrated a fun-filled Christmas party for over 30 children from Rumah K.I.D.S in the 11th installation of the company’s annual social initiative, known as “Christmas in a Shoebox”.
It was organised in partnership with the Nicol David Organisation and was held at Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Club.
The children were given star treatment with Mercedes-Benz Malaysia employees chauffeuring them to the grounds of the celebration.
Upon arrival, they were hosted to an array of fun, exciting and interactive sport tele-matches aimed at nurturing talent, build team spirit, and inculcate values through sports.
They were also given presents bought by employees based on the children’s Christmas wishlist.
“Children bring so much joy into our lives and they are our future," said Mercedes-Benz Malaysia president and CEO Sagree Sardien.
Throughout our 11 years of this Christmas in a Shoebox initiative, our employees have come together to give back to the community in a meaningful way and we’re glad to be able to organise this with Datuk Nicol David through her new organisation.”
Come 2022, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia said it would expand its involvement in the community and further strengthening its partnership with Nicol David Organisation through a joint sport project to build a positive future for children.
