With a total system output of 476hp/700Nm of torque, performance is managed by a nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100kph in 5.0 seconds and onwards to an electronically-limited top speed of 250kph.

In full-electric mode, this W222 PHEV variant is able to provide up to 50km worth of driving range thanks to a significantly larger 13.5kWh Lithium-ion battery pack (versus 6.3kWh) that can take up to six hours (domestic/home charger) or as little as an hour and 48 minutes (Wallbox charger) to fully charge.

While riding on an air suspension system, the S 560 e rolls on 19-inch wheels with 245/45 series run-flat tyres and has been further outfitted with a panoramic sliding sunroof, multibeam LED headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, Magic Vision Control (automatic wiper with integrated washer system), keyless entry with push-start button and a soft-seal door closure system.
