Specifications remain the same as the previous CBU model, which was launched in September 2014.
The C-Class CKD models will be available in two petrol engines - C 200 AVANTGARDE Line and C 250 EXCLUSIVE - priced at RM269,888 and RM299,888 respectively. The fully imported variants were RM285,888 and RM314,888.
"With the introduction of the C-Class as a locally assembled model, we believe that we have firmly cemented our position as the leading premium luxury brand for passenger cars in Malaysia,” said Mercedes-Benz Malaysia vice president of sales & marketing (passenger cars) Mark Raine at the C-Class Driving Experience held in Shah Alam today.
The CKD C-Class is available for test-drives at the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Openhaus nationwide, starting this weekend.
The model was recently picked as the 2015 World Car of the Year.
