Prices for other states was also revealed: Sabah (RM92,526), Sarawak (RM92,576) and Labuan (RM87,043).
All prices are on-the-road without insurance and sales and service tax (SST).
MMM had started to open bookings of the Xpander on Oct 22 as well as revealing the specifications to the Malaysian public.
MMM said it was encouraged by the strong bookings for the new crossover.
“The multi-award winning XPANDER has been well received in other ASEAN countries and MMM is pleased to see the same support from Malaysians. We hope to keep this momentum going and we will maximize our production capacity to meet this encouraging response.
"In return for customer strong support, the team at Mitsubishi Motors are driven to deliver new units as soon as possible to reduce customer’s waiting time,” said Tomoyuki Shinnishi, Chief Executive Officer of MMM.
The Xpander however, will only be available for viewing at showrooms and test drives nationwide from Nov 20.
The Xpander is locally assembled and as such, sees a 100% sales tax exemption on locally-assembled (CKD) models.
The seven-seater crossover comes in one variant with Five-Year warranty with unlimited mileage and is available in Titanium Grey, Quartz White, Diamond Black and Red Metallic.
MMM is the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Malaysia.
