The design language of the ASX is shared with the latest Eclipse Cross, Outlander and Shogun Sport.

The new engine replaces the previous 1.6-litre issue to provide significantly more power. Output has been raised by 35 to 150 horsepower. This is enough to propel the ASX from a standing start to 100 km/h in 10.2 seconds. The car can top 190 km/h.

Mitsubishi has not released consumption and emission figures for he ASX, which will also be sold with four-wheel-drive and optional automatic gearbox.
