Priced at RM5,989 (including GST) and available in Black/Red or White/Red, the V15 cafe racer uses an air-cooled 149.5cc twin-spark dual-valve single-cylinder DTS-i motor that's fed by a 13-litre fuel tank and produces 12PS at 7,500rpm and 13Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.
With a wet weight of 136kg (the lightest of the trio), the V15 has a wheelbase of 1,315mm and has a ground-clearance of 165mm, while measuring 2,044mm-long, 750mm-wide and 1,070mm-tall.
While rolling on 18-inch (front) and 16-inch (rear) wheels that have been fitted with 90/90 (front) and 120/80 (rear) tyres, while stopping power comes from a 240mm disc (front) and 130mm (rear) drum.
The V15's ride and handling is taken care of by the front telescopic and rear mono-shock suspension as the 55W low and 60W high-beam provides forward illumination.
Both NS200 and RS200, costing RM9,222 and RM11,342 respectively (including GST), uses a six-speed manual gearbox to manage the 199.5cc single-overhead cam, four-valve, liquid-cooled, triple-spark, single-cylinder motor producing 24.5PS at 9,750rpm and 18.6Nm of torque at 8,000rpm.
Both bikes, with a wet weight of 155kg, use 17-inch wheels fitted with 100/80 (front) and 130/70 (rear) tyres as well as front telescopic forks with an anti-friction bush and Nitrox-filled rear mono-shock absorber.
They are also 1,993mm-long, with the naked NS200 having a ground clearance of 167mm and is the only one that uses a 12-litre fuel tank while colour options are Red/Black and Black.
It also has the longest wheelbase at 1,363mm and the widest at 804mm, while being slightly taller than the V15 at 1,075mm (+5mm).
Stopping power comes from two hydraulically operated discs - 280mm (front) and 230mm (rear), and a blue-tinged automatic H4 (55W-low and 60W-high beam) headlamp has been fitted as standard. For an additional RM2,120, the more sportier RS200 (available in White/Blue and Black) has a wheelbase of 1,345mm and comes fitted with an automatic (55W low and 65W high-beam) projector headlamp instead, as well as anti-lock braking system (ABS) for the uprated 300mmm (front) and 230mm (rear) discs.
In terms of dimensions, it comes in as the slimmest at 765mm, the tallest at 1,345mm and has the lowest ground-clearance at 157mm.
"I am especially happy with this latest collaboration with BAL, as it has given us the opportunity to penetrate into a fresh segment which is booming and continues to grow stronger in the years to come," said DRB-HICOM automotive distribution and manufacturing & engineering chief executive officer Datuk Harith Abdullah.
