More aggressively-styled Honda CR-Z pops up in Indonesia

JAKARTA: The Honda CR-Z has been launched in Indonesia, priced from RM168,000.

The hybrid sports some exterior and interior changes, and promises better handling and sportier driving.

The CR-Z now comes with sportier exterior design, featuring more aggressive front and rear bumpers with sporty garnish, new LED headlights, new 17" alloy wheels, and the addition of a multi-view rear parking camera.

The interior gets a new black-orange colour scheme and hairline style metal interior garnish. The cabin is also equipped with an array of new advanced features such as smart entry, one-push ignition system, electric parking brake, hands-free telephone steering switch, 7.0” touchscreen AV system with mirroring (additional cable required) and one HDMI port and two USB ports.

The CR-Z is powered by 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine combined with Integrated Motor Assist (IMA), resulting a maximum power of 116hp at 6,600 rpm for CVT type with great fuel efficiency.

In addition, it also features 3-driving modes to adjust to different daily driving conditions namely Normal, Sport and Econ.

The CR-Z made its debut in Indonesia at the 2012 Indonesia International Motor Show. The latest CR-Z represents the second refresh for the model.
