Moto Guzzi Flying Fortress arrives in Malaysia

PETALING JAYA: The much talked about heavy hitter from Moto Guzzi - the MGX-21 or also known as the Flying Fortress - is now available at the Gasket Alley priced at RM172,000.

Brought in by Didi Resources, the authorised importer and distributor of Moto Guzzi in Malaysia, the MGX-21 features blacked-out bat wing fairing wrappped around the handlebar and is topped by sporty plexiglass double fly-screen for aerodynamics.

The spacious main seat has an ergonomic design that ensures maximum comfort for riders of different height and size.

Its 1,380cc engine delivers 96.6hp at 6,500rpm and 121Nm of torque at 3,000rpm which is good enough for any open road riding.

The 90° transverse V-twin engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. The MGX-21 also offers a suite of rider's aid and features such as three riding modes, traction control, cruise control, infotainment system and MG Multimedia Platform which comes with a Bluetooth module that can host up to five devices and smart phone integration.

Meanwhile, the brakes are from Brembo - the front is 320mm double stainless steel floating disc while the rear is a 282mm stainless steel disc with two-pistons floating caliper.

The front suspension uses 45mm hydraulic telescopic forks and the rear is fitted with double shock absorbers with adjustable spring preload.
