Naza Premira ends Aprilia distributorship from July 31

PETALING JAYA: Naza Premira has announced that it will cease operating its Aprilia distributorship with effect from July 31.

The company said the decision was a mutual one made with the Italian motorcycle maker.

Naza Premira added that the move to end the Aprilia distributorship was a result of a brands rationalisation plan under the Naza Group’s overall corporate strategy.

This is to ensure long-term sustainability and profitability of other high-performing four-wheel and two-wheel brands, which is in line with current market demands.

Naza Premira will continue to serve Aprilia customers in aftersales, service, spare parts and warranty until Sept 30.

The company, however, will still represent Piaggio and Vespa brands in Malaysia.
