KUALA LUMPUR: You have come across Carput, Pomen, Carpit, CarBengkel and Serv, apps that support car owners on servicing and roadside assist.

Now, there's a new player in town. And it's called Roger.

According to founder Kevin Lim, Roger is a "360° car ownership app." He is pitching Roger as a platform that would help the industry digitise their offerings, making car ownership a safer and more practical experience for users.

There are two versions of the Roger app. Roger 360 is for consumers to request for emergency services and Roger Squad supports mechanics, repairmen and responders.

Both online services were launched on Wednesday with their initial services covering car breakdowns and towing, tyre replacements, battery replacements and jumpstarts, petrol refuels and accident response.

As part of the launch campaign, new users would receive a RM20 voucher that could be redeemed for any service offerings from the app.

Lim said he plans to organise more campaigns, and promotions to grow Roger's user base, and make it the leading car ownership app in South-East Asia within 10 years.

The app is available on Apple and Google Play Store. For more information, go to the Roger site.
