INGOLSTADT: Audi's new A8 has been earmarked to appear in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster 'Spider-Man: Homecoming," that's due to hit theatres worldwide in July.
Also being featured in the movie, that's due to be premiered in Los Angeles on June 28, is Tom Holland who plays 'Peter Parker' and gets chauffeured around by 'Happy Hogan' (Jon Favreau) in the new Audi A8 L.
The movie scene allows a first impression of the front and side design of the new sedan and even showcases the German carmaker's latest Audi AI traffic jam pilot as 'Happy’ takes his hands off the steering wheel and and allows the A8 to take over driving duties.
Aside from the A8, ‘Tony Stark’ will be helming the R8 V10 Spyder, while 'Peter Parker' gets the baby-R8 - the TTS Roadster.
The new A8 will make its official debut on July 11 at the Audi Summit in Barcelona, Spain and until then, Audi is keeping tight-lipped about it.
