Launched in May 2017, the Pulsar RS200 has since gained a fair following, and is famed for being an affordable 200cc bike that is fuel efficient.
The three new paint schemes are Pearl Metallic White and Pewter Grey – both glossy finishes – and Burnt Red, a matte finish.
Also giving a fresh, distinctive look to the Pulsar RS200 are white alloy wheels, carbon-fibre texture finished front and rear fenders, and the Pulsar logo hot stamped on the seats.
These new colour and graphic schemes enhances Pulsar RS200's appeal to riders migrating from smaller bikes and as well as experienced riders.
Powering the Pulsar RS200 is a 4-stroke SOHC 4-valve liquid-cooled DTS-i engine, churning out 24.5PS and 18.6Nm of torque.
It has a single-channel ABS that uses a 300mm single brake disc in front and a 230mm unit at the rear.
Fuel tank is 13 litres while the front uses telescopic absorbers with an anti-friction bushes and the rear has a nitrox mono-shock gas chamber for a firm and yet enjoyable and engaging riding experience.
The recommended selling price is RM9,990 (without insurance and road tax), the same as the previous variant.
The bike will be available at all authorised Modenas showrooms beginning this Friday.
