KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) today launched the new Ford Ranger Raptor featuring an added safety pack and additional features. The vehicle is priced from RM208,888 (on-the-road, without insurance).
It is available in four colours – Ford Performance Blue, Conquer Grey, Absolute Black and Arctic White.
The Ranger Raptor remains as Malaysia’s first and only premium performance pickup, equipped with additional intelligent advanced driver-assist features including first in-class Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with Vehicle and Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Warning and Assist.
The Ranger Raptor’s 2.0L bi-Turbo diesel engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission to deliver maximum power of 213PS and peak torque of 500Nm.
It features class-leading 850mm water wading, FOX Racing Shox dampers and a Terrain Management System (TMS) that offers six modes, including the Baja Mode for all-out performance.
Additional upgrades include an additional USB charging port on the rear-view mirror and LED projector headlamps for greater visibility.
